(More customer reviews)I wore these shoes 4 times a week for 6 months until they fell apart. They were the MOST uncomfortable pair of dance shoes I've EVER worn. I used to be a professional classical dancer, so that says a lot.I will never ever buy these shoes again, and wouldn't even wear them if they were free.
2 stars because they didn't fall apart the first week I wore them.

The Aris Allen Womens 1930s Red Vintage Velvet Oxford Swing Dancing Shoes offer a rare combination of a decently sized heel and a lace-up style. The Suede Sole is quite flexible and the heel has a synthetic bottom that won't slow you down when it touches the floor during a spin. Women with wide feet reported that these were tight, while women with regular and slightly narrow feet said the width was just right. Women are reporting that these are fitting either perfectly or a half size smaller than their street shoe size (i.e. if you normally fit 7.5 -to- 8 you'll probably wear an 8 -to- 8.5 in these).

We've reproduced this shoe from a pair of authentic mid-1930s Ostrich Pumps (without the Ostrich). The insoles are very well padded and provide excellent support. Because of the blutcher construction, you can adjust the width of the shoe with the satin laces. We've found that these Oxford dance shoes fit true to size.
