(More customer reviews)They were a little tight on my wide feet but they relaxed after the first use.Recommended sizing was accurate--they said 2-1/2 to 3 sized smaller than regular shoes, so I bought a 6 because I normally wear 8-1/2 or 9.Perfect.I LOVE them for west coast swing practice & will buy another pair once I wear them out.

I ordered a size 10.5 and had to return it for an 11.5 that still doesn't fit my foot well.

I don't really wear them. It's probably better to find these in a store somewhere and try them on.

(More customer reviews)I have bought a pair in a store, so I had the opportunity to try them on before buying and I do have the right size for my feet. However, when I use them to dance with, the leather pads that are supposed to protect the balls of my feet, are too far back and are not protecting the whole area. After using them for about two months (two one hour classes per week), the stitching that is holding the leather patches in place, is already coming apart. I would not buy them again.

(More customer reviews)I bought these for Tae Kwon Do practice on a carpeted floor that was tearing up my feet. I needed the ability to pivot quickly on the balls of my feet and have total foot flexibility. I have wide feet and found these to be too narrow for me even though I ordered a larger size. However they are made of a very soft suede in the area that needs to stretch and I know they will stretch with either some wear or by placing in a shoe stretcher. It is just cut piece of suede there is no stitch reinforcement that would prevent it from stretching. I suspect they are made narrow purposely to accommodate the stretching that will occur with wear. There is elastic at the top of the arch and on the back strap around the Achilles that is very accommodating. I got the black pair because it is pretty obvious that they will get dirty quickly and I have no idea how to clean suede.

(More customer reviews)I got these shoes but I ended up buying and using something else because:
1)one side is narrower than the other ,maybe I need to wear it more to get them both comfortable (but I didn't because of the following reasons too).
2)your feet get too hot in it, you can't wear it for a long period of time.
3) it's NOT all genuine leather. the front part is NOT. only the very fine pieces all around and the back are.
4)the sole of the shoe is plastic (as opposed to leather) which makes it uncomfortable, especially if that doesn't match exactly the position where it's supposed to be.
