I found these shoes supportive and comfortable, especially for turning. They also lasted quite a while.I have narrow, tapered feet and these were a good fit for my feet, although the vamp is a bit high for my shortish toes.My other favorite shoe is the Grishko 2007, just for comparison, but these are a bit less expensive.I had no trouble with torque (which I have had with Freeds), and they lasted for a full month before the box got mushy (my feet run hot, so it's always a consideration). They do squeak, though, when they're new and first breaking in to demi-popinte!
