I started out on Gaynor Minden's because the other (cheapley made) pointe shoes I had prior to that I was breaking every 4 weeks. As it was getting pricey to keep replacing them, I bought Gaynor Minden's which are perfect for dancer's who have 'over-developed' arches. Granted I still broke these every six months (class shoes only not performance ones)but this is the price we pay as dancers.
