(More customer reviews)I bought these shoes for 2 reasons: my husband and I are taking ballroom dance lessons, and I needed a black shoe for special occasions that I could actually walk in. The stores are full of stilettos - which are not something I can pull off. These shoes looked great in the photo but when I received them, I was truly disappointed.

The satin was bubbled up all over the shoe - like it had been glued onto the shoe and only stuck in a few places. then, when I put them on to go to a wedding, they squeaked like I had a whole family of mice living in them. It was awful! I took them off to see what was up, and discovered that the plastic heel bottom wasn't really attached to the shoe and that when I walked it was rubbing and making some of the noise. The rest of the squeaking seemed to come from the shoe itself when it folded as I walked.

I could only email the company and it took them several days to get back to me. They did email a label and said I could return them for a full refund.

I did and won't be buying from them again. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.
