(More customer reviews)Bought these for a tap-intensive musical.Out of the box: stap too big, used an awl to create a new hole, and had to trim off about 2.5 inches of excess strap hanging off the shoe because it looked so weird.Heel was the right height - but not very flattering to my foot/leg (oh well).The sound was not "extreme," either - sounds were thin and weak, had to loosen the tap plates a little, after which they sounded much better.HOWEVER - the shank on one of them BROKE at my third rehearsal!Granted, the rehearsals were pretty intense, but still - you pay this much for a shoe, it should LAST and be able to meet the demands of a serious dancer.Not especially impressed.
